Hello,
Can anyone tell me if you have this rose "Ferry Porsche" ?? Parentage; Tropicana x Americana.
I am looking everywhere for it. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, California USA.
I know it isn't easily found...I listed the information below, that I found online, It is available in Australia, but can't mail to USA.

Dede Seward Hybrid Tea and Grandiflora (post 1950) 'Ferry Porsche'
A Hybrid Tea introduced by Kordes in 1971. Buds long, pointed, Red, double flowers with 34 petals, foliage dark and soft, vigorous upright growth.
Parentage; Tropicana x Americana.
Colour: Bright Red Height: Average Shrub 2.5 - 5 feet (0.75 m - 1.5 m) Scent: Slight or No Scent Introduction: 1966 - 1975
Kordes, Reimer (b. 19.2.1922, d. 3.2.1997), (Breeder), Director of the nursery "W. Kordes' Sons" as successor of his father Wilhelm Kordes II and his uncle Hermann Kordes II.

Re: Ferry Porsche. Bred in 1971.
Although I haven't seen this reference, someone tells me that Modern Roses 12 is carrying a date of 1976 for this rose.
The Australian Rose Annual 1974, page 78 has a reference to someone growing it in Australia and therefore I am presuming the MR12 date of 1976 is incorrect. I note the Helpmefind reference to MR10 which gives a date of 1971.
