Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1959 as 'Blue Boy'.

Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Reddish violet. Purplish maroon. Deep plum purple..  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 39" to 4½' (100 to 135cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
