Harry H. Hazlewood.  The New Roses of 1951. Mme. Yves Latieule  (Meilland, 1947). Shapely large double fragrant blooms of rich primrose yellow. Moderate grower. An attempt was made to change the name to 'Nankin'  in England, but it was rejected by the N.R.S.

Freedom of flowering 15. Slight fragrance 4. Awarded a Gold Medal at Summer Show. Awarded a Trial Ground Certificate in 1949 under name of "Nankin" which was subsequently found to be incorrect.
