Was actually introduced in 1968 by Harry Wheatcroft and Sons of Edwalton, Nottingham. They were a different company to the Wheatcroft Brothers as Harry had gone his own.

Thank you for the year and page number. I’ve typed up the reference and added the introducer.

Pedro Dot was 83 years old in 1968. It's true he was a remarkable innovator, but his son Simon brought out a long series of mauve and violet roses, including ‘Mistica’ two years earlier. There is a strong possibility ‘Godfrey Winn’ (‘Milas de Fortecruiba‘) is by Simon too.

You were right with your comment: The synonym 'Milas de Fortcruiba' is an error, actually it is 'Milagros de Fontcuberta' by Simon Dot.

Thank you, jedmar, for both the attribution and the correct spelling.
