Bred by André Delbard-Chabert (1915-2012) (France, before 1961).
Introduced in France by Delbard/Georges Delbard SA in 1961 as 'Dr. Albert Schweitzer'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1965 as 'Dr. Albert Schweitzer'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Seashell-pink, rose-red reverse, coral shading.  Moderate fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
