Origin:
Bred by Gilbert Nabonnand (1828-1903) (France, 1881).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Madame Marie Lavalley'.
Class:
Hybrid Noisette, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, silver(y) shading, white undertones.  Very large, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
