Origin:
Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1907).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1908 as 'Avoca'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  can be trained as a climber.
