 | 'Queen Mab' from 'The Gardeners' Magazine' July 9, 1898, facing page 440. Uploaded 25 JUN 18 | From 1913 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 88)
Text on reverse of card:
  QUEEN MAB.
(China.)
The buds are long and pointed, and produced freely and continuously from early June until late in the autumn. With vigorous bushy habit, it is a splendid variety for massing, bedding, or hedges, and requires very little pruning beyond that which is necessary to keep the plants shapely. Introduced in 1896.
