Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1958 as 'Granate'.

Dark red, white streaks, stripes, flecks.  Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: 6" to 16" (15 to 40cm).
