probably, mme adolphe dahair has been substituted by mrs dudley cross.

What about the pink tones in the photos? 'Mme Adolphe Dahair' is said to have been white and cream.

Yes, I hadn't seen your pictures, my plant of Albert Hoffman so far has had no pinks. The true Albert Hoffman should look something like Mrs Dudley Cross. I'm being carefull equating roses to Mrs Dudley Cross as I've just had a sport of Mme Antoine Rebe occur that also looks like this rose (MDC) and is also thornless. I think that my Idea doesn't seem likely now.
