Origin:

Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1912).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1913 as 'Duchess of Sutherland'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Light pink to deep pink, lemon-yellow shading, white undertones. Moderate, sweetbriar fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Upright.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Vigorous. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
