Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1871).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Etienne Levet'.

Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  70 petals.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), flat, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
