Mary Hart (Hart, 1931).— A red sport of Talisman, with somewhat similar blooms, but a crimson-scarlet colour, and a very sweet damask perfume. Tall, vigorous growth, very floriferous. In my opinion, much superior to its parent, Talisman. Mary Hart is everyones' sweetheart. A charming decorative rose.

Mary Hart (Hart, 1931): Is a red sport of Talisman, and, in my opinion, is a better Rose than its parent. The colour is glowing crimson-scarlet, flushed orange. At times the blooms fade rather badly. The habit of the plant is vigorous, and blooms are freely produced on long stems, making it ideal for decorative purposes.  Sweet damask perfume.

Cultivée, aussi, Marie Hart, très jolie rose, ravissante, en boulon, portée par une lige fluette ; variété capricieuse qui ne donne pas mieux greffée sur indica que sur canina.

Mary Hart I consider one of the very finest of all decorative Roses. It blooms freely, grows strongly, has lovely fragrance, and makes a glorious Rose for a vase. It is far ahead of its parent, Talisman, in my humble opinion.
