Harry H. Hazlewood. The New Roses of 1954. Climbing Caprice Clg. HT. (Lens, 1951). A vigorous climbing sport of the very lovely semi-double bush rose raised by Meilland in 1948. (The name was changed in England to ‘Lady Eva Price’ to distinguish it from earlier varieties of this name). The colour is rich lively pink with a pronounced yellow centre while the petals have a light, almost yellow reverse and with glossy foliage and vigorous growth the variety will be a welcome decorative. The original name is retained here, to conform to American, Continental and British listings.
