Dame Kath (MAChilver) McGredy 1998. FI. ('Chaumant' x ('Seaspray' x 'Freegold') 77 reports, 60 plants. Garden: 7.3, Exhibition: 7.0, height medium, some disease, light fragrance. Creamy pink medium sized blooms in clusters. Compact habit, average repeat, poor petal substance, does not like rain, good for showing when weather is fine.

Dame Cath (MAChilver) McGredy 1997: Garden rating 7.0, Exhibition rating 7.1. 8 bushes, 8 reports. Disease resistant: Light fragrance: Medium height: Soft pink flowers. Manawatu - medium size flowers in small and large clusters; beautifully foliaged with average repeat; does not like rain. Worthwhile. Good for showing when weather is fine. Carterton - looks lovely from a distance but flowers go off quickly. Marlborough - healthiest bush in the garden; shiny foliage with good blooms, always in flower. Waikato -
very pretty garden rose; soft colour and good clean healthy foliage. Good as small stem.

Dame Cath (MAChilver) McGredy 1997; 'Chaumant' x ('Sea Spray' x 'Freegold'); 8 reports on 11 bushes; 3-4 years; 1 metre; 7.5 rating. Cream to pink flowers, dark glossy foliage on a medium sized bush. North Otago says healthy with good sized blooms and good repeat. Marlborough says excellent in all respects. North Taranaki finds it healthy. Southland likes the blooms but they lack texture and can't stand the rain. Feilding finds the colour nice and the bush makes good small stems. Slow repeat.
Canterbury liked it the first year but not so much since.

Dame Cath (MAChilver) McGredy 1997; 'Chaumant' x ('Sea Spray' x 'Freegold'); cream to pink flowers; 41 reports on 11 bushes; 3-4 years; 1 metre; 7.0 rating. Dark glossy foliage on a medium sized bush. North Harbour like its health and lovely flowers. A nice garden rose but repeat is a bit slow. North Otago like its health and say it makes an ideal garden rose. Marlborough love the healthy foliage. They find the colour pale (not like the pictures) and the petals drop quickly. Hutt Valley find it makes a lovely low hedge (they have 8 bushes) always in flower, healthy with quick repeat.

Dame Cath (MAChilver); McGredy 1997; 'Chaumant' x ('Sea Spray' x 'Freegold'); cream to pink flowers; 11 reports on 19 bushes; 1-3 years; 1 metre; 7.5 rating. Dark glossy foliage on a medium sized bush. Manawatu think it is a great garden display rose, always in bloom and bushy, but perhaps not for showing. North Harbour like its health and lovely flowers. A nice garden rose, but repeat is a bit slow. North Otago like its health and compact growth, and the nice shade of pink flowers. Marlborough love the healthy foliage. They find the colour pale (not like the pictures) and the petals drop quickly. Otago think it is very dainty with excellent contrast between the flowers and foliage. Hutt Valley find it makes a lovely low hedge (they have 8 bushes), always in flower, healthy with quick repeat. Southland says short healthy growth, pretty shapely blooms, and worth trying in a pot. Waikato says very pretty, dainty shape, size and colour.

Dame Cath (MAChilver) McGredy 1997; cream to pink; 5 reports on 6 bushes; 1-2 years; 1 metre; 7.6 rating. Dark glossy foliage on a medium sized bush. North Otago says very healthy with lots of blooms and a quick repeat. Great foliage. Canterbury says blooms are delightful colour form and size. Healthy but small bush. Northland says just a good garden rose. Bay of Plenty says good, clean and healthy. Good clusters which repeat well. Taranaki's bush flowers well.
