I think some online sellers are selling the Fryer version, but saying its from New Zealand 1985, so some from that Fryer version may appear here. I think its a case of sincere misinterpretation.

This rose is described here as having a strong fragrance. However, The New Zealand Book of Roses (Hutchinson, 1999) follows sterling praise with, "Regretfully, the fowers have no scent." Which is it? Does anybody grow this?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The registration reported in Modern Roses XI indicates that this rose has a "moderate" fragrance. I have added the reference and updated the rose page.
