Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1903).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Madame Hector Leuillot'.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange shading, carmine-red undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Height of up to 4' 1" (up to 125 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  can be trained as a climber.
