Origin:
Bred by Anthony Cook (United States, 1855).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Cornelia Koch'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Cream, light yellow shading, pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The synonym in the Rosenlexikon of 'Mlle Denise de Reverseaux' seems to indicate a similarity of this rose to 'Cornelia Cook', as there is a totally separate entry for the former. 'May Rivers' is also mentioned as a synonym by one source.
