Origin:
Bred by Edward Towill (United States, before 1912).
Introduced in United States by A.N. Pierson, Inc. in 1913 as 'Milady'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Short, few or no prickles/thorns.  Small foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
