HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.
Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.
We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.
Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..
We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.
As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.
Book (Apr 1993) Page(s) 5. Agnes Kruse Floribunda, 1936, 'Mme. Edouard Herriot' x 'Eblouissant'; Tantau, velvety red.
Book (1940) Page(s) 5. Agnes Kruse Polyantha. (Tantau, '36)... fiery red, velvety shade...
Book (1939) Page(s) 77. R. Marion Hatton. An American Review of the New Roses. Agnes Kruse, a cross of Herriot and Eblouissant, from Tantau, is a little Polyantha that has pleased me for the past four years. The flowers are perfectly formed, starry little Roses of velvety deep red, but the fragrance one would expect from such a bloom is weak. The plants are low but bushy, and are generous bloomers.
Book (1938) p98. S R. Bird. Auckland's Roses. Agnes Kruse is a perfect miniature of Crimson Glory, and should prove of value where Roses the size of Cecile Brunner are used.
p105. John Poulsen, NZ. Roses in the South Island Agnes Kruse. Good, free branching growth, flowering profusely and producing perfectly high-pointed miniature exhibition blooms of exquisite shape. Something new in hybrid Polyantha Roses and a real gem.
Website/Catalog (1938) Page(s) 43. New Roses 1937. Agnes Kruse (Hyb. Poly. M. Tantau 1935) 2. Medium sized flowers for the type, in clusters of 10 to 15, with rich, deep crimson colour and a very thorny habit. Quite a new type in Polyantha roses. E.
Website/Catalog (1937) Page(s) 35. New Roses 1937. Agnes Kruse (Hyb. Poly. M. Tantau 1935) Large, fully double flower, of bright fiery red with a velvet shade; upright and healthy growth. 4/- each. Very brilliant dark crimson, small to medium sized blooms. An acquisition to the Hybrid Polyantha class.
