Breeder's notes:
'MANpurpearl' is my registered Code name with IRAR for this rose. NOTE : August 30th. 2007. It is now officially registered with IRAR as 'S.E.A. of Love'.
It is a sister seedling of my miniature 'Rubies'n'Pearls'. This rose has never been introduced as I was too busy testing and introducing minis. It is very vigorous, winter hardy and above average disease resistant with shiny foliage. As you'll see in the photos, the blooms have a very good high center for exhibition. It never had mildew in my yard with limited spraying only every 4 to 5 weeks from April to October. Mauve colour varies from lighter to darker depending on weather & growing conditions.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
At the Vancouver, BC Rose Show June 11th 2006 a smaller spray of this rose wins : "Best Floribunda Spray in Show"
25% of the proceeds from the sale of S.E.A. of Love will be donated to cancer research. S.E.A. of Love was named for Susan E. Atkins of San Diego by a group of her friends in honor of her 60th birthday.
