Bred by Joseph H. Hill (United States, before 1925).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1925 as 'Gold Mine'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Goldmine'.

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Yellow to golden-yellow, orange undertones, copper undertones, lighter edges. Strong, tea fragrance. Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
