Probably the most important florists' Rose in America to-day is the cerise sport of Briarcliff - Better Times. Now we have two red sports of Better Times - Peerless and Red Better Times. They are quite similar and are much like their parent except for their darker colouring. Under glass I can see a profitable future for them, as the Columbia family are all good producers. The stems are almost thornless and they have splendid fragrance.
