Some All-Canadian Roses

H.M. Eddie & Sons Ltd., 4100 S.W. Marine Drive, Vancouver 13, B.C., have produced far more Hybrid Tea roses of Canadian origin than anyone else in Canada. They have been hybridizing for over thirty years, and have produced eighteen roses in B.C. as follows in alphabetical order:
"Poly Prim", Floribunda. A fine yellow floribunda something like "Goldilocks" but a better shaped plant. It was awarded a gold medal by the National Rose Society in 1954.

Poly Prim. Floribunda.  (Eddie 1953). Goldilocks x Golden Rapture.  Large (three-inch) double (70 petals) well shaped, fragrant, deep yellow, cluster.  Foliage dark, glossy.  Very vigorous, bush, abundant bloom.  National Rose Society Gold Medal 1954.
