Registration name: Pompadour (hybrid tea, Murray, 1978)
Origin:
Bred by Nola Murray (New Zealand, 1978).
Introduced in New Zealand by Rasmussen's Ltd. in 1979 as 'Pompadour'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Mauve pink with silver reverse.  Strong, fruity fragrance.  up to 43 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
