Book (1940) Page(s) 116. C. W. Heers, Q'ld. Roses in Queensland. Of the 1938 introductions, Orange Glory, a new break in colour. will probably be the most popular, though it does fade rather badly during the summer months.
Book (1939) p77. R. Marion Hatton. An American Review of the New Roses From M. Leenders and Company, in Holland, Cochincal Glory and Orange Glory seemed quite unnecessary. Flower form was poor, the colours faded quickly and plants were not at all good.
p118. Mr C. W. Heers. Roses in Queensland Orange Glory.- A very attractive, rich orange colour of medium size. Though described as full, it is only semi-double with us, particularly during the summer. Like all these highly coloured varieties, it fades and appears to lighten to a rich pink. The growth promises to be satisfactory.
p132. Mr John Poulsen, NZ. Canterbury Roses. Orange Glory.- Splendid growth and foliage, flowering extra freely. The first blooms were exceptionally fine. This should prove to be an extra fine bedding Rose, and no Rose will produce more blooms in the course of a season.
