POULobe` was discovered by L. Pernille and Mogens N. Olesen in a controlled greenhouse environment in Fredensborg, Denmark in the Spring of 1994. `POULobe` originated as a naturally occurring, whole-branch mutation of the Poulsen proprietary variety `POULnola`
