Bred by Daniel J. ("Dan") Jobson (United States, 1989).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Flowers purple-lavender shading to white at the base.  Vanilla fragrance.  5 petals.  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  Small, semi-glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 4' (120cm).  Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden, ground cover or landscape.  Produces decorative hips.
