Bloom: White.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 1.75".  Small, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, rounded bloom form.   
Habit: Few or no prickles/thorns.  Small foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes: Comte Ambroise Anatole Augustin de Montesquiou-Fézensac (August 8, 1778 Paris - January 22, 1878 Courtanveaux (Sarthe)), Colonel, Adjutant of Napoéon, author and poet. The name "Anatole de Montesquiou-Fézensac" is repeated in his descendants. |
