No doubt this one is truly extinct. Was reading one of my old ARS Annuals and the POP, maybe #62--1977, and this one got a 3.7 with a modest amount of reports which is insane. BUT---bad rose it may have been, I was not aware this one was STRIPED and NOT A SPORT? Nobody knows from where Ferdinand Pichard came, but correct me if I am wrong (and I may BE) but from York and Lancaster to Anvil Sparks, Harry Wheatcroft, Careless Love, Candy Stripe, Fiesta (and there are many more).....STRIPED is USUALLY a "sport" ??? Oranges n Lemons may be another possible exception? But 20 years AFTER this one, so very intriguing. Wish it was still around but no, there is no doubt this one is gone forever IMHO...............
