Rosa malmundariensis ('Malmedy Rose') Description... petals 5, very pale pink, cordately notched... Found by Le Jeune in the mountains near Malmedy, this rose is distinct from all others in the wild by the leaflets being glabrous on both surfaces but glandular only on the margins. This is the prime character of R. montana Willd., of which it is certainly a modification... The Rosae Montanae are found in mountains, woods and dry places mainly in the North of France...
