White, yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  up to 5 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Small foliage.  9 to 11 leaflets.  

Height: 18" to 4' (45 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.

While Prévost lists 'Rosier de Marienbourg as a synonym of R. redutea glauca, both taxa are recognised by IOPI as approved and distinct. The descriptions of Thory are diffferent.
