Clodagh McGredy (MACswanle) McGredy 1999: Garden rating 7.2. Exhibition rating nil. Some. health problems; moderate fragrance: medium height. Soft amber flowers. Waikato - first year bush; lovely colour and perfume. Canterbury grower rates this rose very highly, the only exhibition rating report at 8.8. Makes a good fully open, small or large stem. Bay of Plenty says colour fades; powdery mildew and mites. A pale apricot. Otago - very disappointing this year; rust and hates the rain. Lovely colour when the weather is right. Marlborough reports a pretty little rose. Lovely for a basket. Manawatu - buff amber medium / large blooms of good HT quality; a really good garden rose.

[Several of Sam McGredy's roses, among them 'Maria McGredy', Clodagh McGredy, 'Kathryn McGredy' and 'Jillian McGredy'] are not available in the U.S.A. since the demise of DeVor nurseries. They cannot be put on the market because the trademarks are held by the banks.

Clodagh McGredy (MACswanle) McGredy 1999; 7 reports on 12 bushes; 1-2 years; 1.1 metres; 7.2 rating". Soft amber coloured blooms, perfumed. North Otago says very lovely colour. Healthy and blooms hold well. Repeats well. Marlborough finds the flowers a little small. Waikato found the bush a little slow to start but the blooms have nice colour and show potential, very healthy. Bay of Plenty feel it lacks vigour and is prone to diseases with a slow repeat. Another Waikato grower says vigorous and healthy with lovely blooms, good repeat. Perhaps blooms are a little on the small side for the show bench. Canterbury find it disbuds easily and is a grand colour.
