New Roses 1933.  Tom Barr HT.  (S. McGredy & Son 1932) F. 2.  Red with a faint flush of copper, fading to lilac rose as the blooms age.  The petals are long and narrow, while the growth has not come up to expectations this year.  A.H.M.Mts.P.S.

New Roses 1933.  Tom Barr (HT.  S. McGredy & Son 1932) A mixture of yellow and russety orange suffused salmon and scarlet. The colours are overlaid in a manner impossible to describe, and the whole mixture gives a brilliant and attractive colour so far unknown In roses.  General impression orange bronze. Perfect shape and quality, and under normal growth exhibition blooms can be cut in quantity. Sweet fragrance. Vigorous growth, bright green mildew proof foliage. Price 4/- each.
Coppery red, with the copper colour only slightly emphasised, fading to lilac rose. The petals are long and narrow. 20 petals. Recommended.
