From 1926 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 9) COVENT GARDEN. (Hybrid Tea.) An ideal rose for bedding, with erect branching habit. The flowers are of medium size, full, beautifully formed, and freely produced throughout the summer, with strong perfume. It is a particularly good variety for growing under glass. It should be moderately pruned at the beginning of March. Introduced in 1919, and awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
