General List. (26) C. V. Haworth (HT. A. Dickson 1917) F.3. The semi-double blooms are of good size, and a very rich scarlet crimson, becoming deeper in the autumn. Mildew-proof, but we consider 'Lady Maureen Stewart' superior, as it has richer perfume and is freer in bloom. Everywhere.

Editor.  New Roses of 1919.
The Great Summer Show.   Gold Medals were awarded to C. V. Haworth H.T. (Messrs. Alex. Dickson & Sons). This is perhaps one of the prettiest decorative Roses the raisers have yet given us. The colour is somewhat difficult to describe, it being a lovely combination of pink, orange and yellow. The flowers are well formed and carried singly on long stiff and upright stems, while the neat dark green foliage adds greatly to its charm. Altogether a beautiful Rose. In commerce.
