‘Narre Peace’ – A striped sport from ‘Peace’ (‘Mme. A. Meilland’). The margining of pink as found on the yellow petals of ‘Peace’ changes to stripes of pink in ‘Narre Peace’. Both varieties vary greatly with the weather, losing the pink in hot weather but regaining it in moderate weather. Vigorous and sweet scented.

‘Narre’ Peace’ (HT) (Brundrett, 1960) this is a sport of ‘Mme. A. Meilland’ (‘Peace’). It is not unlike ‘Peace’ in its flowering, but much more vigorous in its nature of growth. Its colouring is golden yellow splashed and veined pink.

Meilland’) which in a most intriguing manner has stripes and veining of pink on the golden yellow petals where ‘Peace’ has this pink as a margining of the petals.
