The stated parentage for this rose makes no sense. If 1930 is the introduction date, Honeymoon (Kordes, 1960) cannot be part of its' parentage.
I can't figure out if 1930 is the introduction date for the rose or the birth date for the breeder.

Thanks Nastarana. It is corrected now to the 1922 'Honeymoon'. Interestingly, 'Agnes De Puy' was bred by the same Mr. Hiram De Puy who gave 200 'Honeymoon' roses "still dewy" to the ladies in a trainload of tourists. See the 1930 'Honeymoon' reference.

What a charming story. I wish the original 'Honeymoon' had survived to the present day.
