Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1943).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1943 as 'Madame A. Charvet'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, lilac edges.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to the memory of the late wife of the president of the Société Française des Chrysanthémistes.
In the 1944 reference Mallerin is cited as the breeder and Meilland as the introducer.
