Bred by Unknown (before 1829). Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in before 1829 as 'Orphise'. Introduced in France by Miellez in 1829 as 'Rouge Admirable'. Introduced in Australia by J. Graham & Co. in 1874 as 'Rouge Admirable'.
Bloom:
Light purple to deep pink.. Velvety. Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
