Mrs. Rosalie Parsons. A Carnival of Cluster Flowered Roses. ‘Water Music’ – a great rose which grows on the fence between ‘Pierre de Ronsard’ and ‘Gold Bunny’. As I gaze out my windows it always seems to have blooms standing out boldly against the blue sky, or at other times brightening up grey dripping clouds. Blooms come in a mixture of pink and white in sprays of three to five. One of many wonderful Australian roses bred by Ron Bell.

‘Water Music’. Modern, large-flowered climber, deep pink. Bred by Australian Ron Bell, ‘Water Music’ is a large climbing rose that produces deep pink, double flowers with 20 petals early in the season. The flowers are darker on the petal edges, fading as they age, and are slightly fragrant. This variety grows well in the warm climate of Australia, but is largely unknown in the rest of the world. The disease resistance is good on a spreading plant with medium-sized, glossy dark green foliage. ‘Water Music’ is an example of a rose that has been released by an Australian breeder into his local market without a large distribution network. Zones 5-10. Bell, Australia, 1982. ‘Handel’ x seedling.
