How do you define almost thornless?
Probably fewer than shown on Bibi's photos.

Ref.: Drobisch Catalogue 1889, Page 17 indicates the USA release date was 1888.
“Miniature — One of the most beautiful miniature roses; flowers quite small, and of regular form. Plant very dwarf, but vigorous and branching. Color white, slightly tinted with a peachy pink. A novelty of last year.”
