Discovered by Walter Branchi (Italy, before 1997).
Introduced in Italy by Walter Branchi - Archive in 1997 as '"Octandre"'.
Class:
Found Rose, Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, light pink shading, copper highlights.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 39" (100cm).  Width: 31" (80cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Walter Branchi says Octandre has the large, full flowers of a Tea Rose. The color is a medium pink with touches of lighter pink and bronze. This rose is dedicated to the composer, Edgard Varese (December 22, 1885 - November 6, 1965). "Octandre" is one of his compositions from 1923.
