'Judith Morton' rose References
Book  (1981)  Page(s) 62.

Symposium of Hybrid Tea Roses. 'Judith Morton'. Tying with 'Miss Harp' for fifteenth place we have this lovely pure white rose, raised here in New Zealand by Mrs. T. Stewart of Wanganui. We have some disagreement over this rose by our reporters. One says she is a complete waste of time, not enough flowers and just grows tall. Another says it did very well last Autumn, and the flowers showed less spotting than you generally get with whites. The third reporting that his flowers very well and often. All agree it grows very tall, seven feet is mentioned and that it should be grown against a trellis for support. The flowers come at the end of these tall canes, which sport dark green leaves. One member says his bush takes a little mildew and rust in the early part of the season, but it is easily controlled. All state the flowers last well on the bush, drop cleanly, but do spot in rain. Evidently a debatable rose.
