Professor Deaux, Pernt. (Pernet Ducher, 1935). An outsize almost to the point of coarseness in some cases. The buds are long, with 40 petals and a rich fragrance.  This variety is classed by the raiser as a Pernetiana, but it is to be hoped it is free from the dying back associated with so many of this family. A promising novelty.

p116.  Allan A. Brundrett.  A Victorian Review of the Season's Novelties.
Professor Deaux, P. (Pernet Ducher). A golden yellow variety with very long petals and very long stems. Petals number 35, but the shape so far has been very indifferent. Worth watching.
