Continuing the thread from the 'Refresher' photo comments page......
Patricia I will have to seek out my 2002 photo of Refresher taken at Sangerhausen. And yes it is definitely there in Europe. And no it is not in the South East of South Australia at Mrs Robertson's former home - nor in Australia anymore to the best of my knowledge. Pat T
Thank you Pat. A shame about it not being at Mrs. Robertson's. I guess some of these Alister Clark's were just too big for ordinary gardens. We look forward to seeing your photo. Thank you too Francoise for posting that original picture. You have alerted us all that the rose may still be out there. Patricia.

Patricia have you a copy of the Refresher photo that I posted a couple or so years ago? I have been searching high and low for the two slides. I know there is a scan of one of the slides on the old laptop so I will have to start that up and save it to a disc to put on this laptop and then post it. Have now uploaded the photos - pity I did not take a whole plant habit photo. Pat T

Glad you found them Pat - I didn't have copies. I agree about the whole plant habit. Sometimes a full frontal pic is just not enough - and I liken them to make-up on young ladies faces - they all end up looking vaguely similar. One needs pictures and descriptions of hips and necks and buds and stance and height and all those other things which go towards making the individual different.
Helpmefind - how do we go about removing the following tag on Francoise 's photo: One or more site guests believe this photo is incorrectly labeled or inaccurate !

The two slide scans have been uploaded. No bush shots - only these two. Pat
