for the rose-lovers of the nineteenth century, this one must have been a dream come true. i wonder, why it is an almost forgotten variety. the blooms are large, very fragrant, outstandingly beautiful and - best of all - they are very freely produced. i haven´t found out, if it produces hips, but if so, i will use it for breeding.
