Origin:

Bred by Gerald Adriaan Van Rossem (Netherlands, 1919).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1922 as 'Herfsttooi'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Dark purple, crimson shading. Mild fragrance. Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy, upright.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
