Goldener Gruss an Aachen (hybrid polyantha) has large, double, pointed-centred flowers of deep golden- to orange-yellow, borne singly and in few-flowered clusters. Growth is robust and bushy, and foliage deep glossy green. Kordes 1935...Vigorous. Moderately fragrant...June-September. Hardy.

The bright golden-yellow, slightly orange-red shaded colouring of the large, almost full blooms gave this new cultivar, which was awarded at the Rose Show Mainz 1935, its name. Its habit is similar to that of the well-known older Rose Gruss an Aachen and therefore will find justified preference exactly as this for container culture or for decoration of graves and borders. ...1 piece RM [Reichsmark] 4.-
