Origin:
Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1930).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1931 as 'Ami L. Cretté'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Ami L. Cretté'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, vermilion shading, coral-pink reverse, yellow undertones.  Cactus dahlia form.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, thornless (or almost), upright.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
